I tuned into the weather channel to monitor the heavy storms moving through Minneapolis today. A young weather reporter from Atlanta, Georgia, was sharing data from around the country. When she got to Minnesota region and Minneapolis, she said "Well, those people are like the little furry things sold at Christmas - not furbies, but like that. Um, what are they? Oh yea, Zhu Zhu pets! They have tunnels between their buildings so they don't have to go outside! I'm sure they will be using them today and during the upcoming heat wave. They are like human Zhu Zhus!"
LOL. Yes, there is a skyway system in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. I only wish I could have tunnels out here in the burbs where I live. Yes indeed, bike lanes and walking paths all in temperature controlled bliss. We would be healthier and happier than the folks at Lake Wobegone!
