The drywall crew was just packing up their truck when the floor installer showed up. No one had called me about this so it was a good thing we were home! He spent most of Wednesday installing the underlayment that makes the floor level and seals in the old vinyl floor. Some areas needed two sheets while others only one. Fortunately our doors all had clearance for the added height. He will return in a week and a half to install the floor. I called the project manager to find out if our floor had been delivered to the Home Depot store and it was. They had me schedule a pick-up day to allow them time to get it out of the warehouse. I picked it up after the cupboards were installed so we had a space to put the 12 cartons.
